Guest Blog: A visit to London by PVM Srinivas, MD Harvey Nash India
Hello everyone,
I had the great pleasure of receiving a very warm welcome from PVM, MD of our Harvey Nash India and his team when I visited India last year. I returned to the UK energised by the passion and the talent of the team there.
Earlier this month I was able to return that warm welcome when PVM came to London, and here in this guest blog he shares his thoughts on the visit.
Have a great day,
Bev
I am delighted for the invite to write a guest blog post for Bev’s weekly CEO Blog.
As a brief introduction, my name is PVM Srinivas, and I oversee India operations as Managing Director for the past 19 years. I am often asked why I go by “PVM.” When I tell them my full name (Polepalle Viswa Mallikarjuna Srinivas), they soon realize why I shorten it! 😊
In total, I have been with Harvey Nash for approximately 2.5 years as part of the acquisition of Latitude 36 back in October of 2020. Since acquisition, due to the growth and expansion of our India operation, I have not been able to schedule a visit to our Nash Squared headquarters in London. Fortunately, I was able to arrange a visit in early May to come over and connect with colleagues that, to this point, I had only seen on MS Teams calls.
Nothing replaces in-person meetings, and I was reminded that even more so during my visit. The discussions I had with Nash Squared, Harvey Nash, Spinks, and NashTech about their overall business views, thoughts, ideas, and new ways of working, were inspiring. It was clear that all of our team is keen on fostering growth in the business, as well as continuing to make Nash Squared the best place to work globally in the technology solutions and talent space.
During my visit, I had the pleasure of attending several internal meetings at our corporate HQ. The meetings gave me the opportunity to meet with many leaders from N2, Spinks, Nash Tech & Harvey Nash teams, and from multiple business units.
It was inspiring to hear from Bev about the business growth, and exciting plans.
I really enjoyed my conversations with Andy Heyes and Robin Beattie as we talked about how our GDC teams in India can continue to grow and help each brand make a positive impact to customers in the UK (and beyond). Similarly, I was able to meet with Nick Lonsdale and we talked about expanding new business ideas as India being Global delivery center and focusing on growth . It was also great to learn more form Sam Wilson, who shared exciting developments about Nash Squared’s digital transformation journey well under way.
While the collaboration was amazing, I was particularly impressed by the overall dynamic nature and innate leadership traits our Nash Squared team possesses. It was impressive for me to learn new business strategies that I am excited to take forward to our India business.
On a personal level, before I forget, I was also so pleased to attend the Coronation of King Charles III – what timing! It was great to see the pageantry and celebrations going on around the city of London throughout the week, culminating in the important ceremony on Saturday. I stayed over the weekend to soak it all in and I’m so glad I was able to capture that wonderful moment.
In closing, it was an honor to be able to visit our London office and so thankful for the hospitality I warmly received from everyone.
Thank you to Bev for the opportunity to share more about my trip on this week’s guest post, and I wish you a wonderful weekend to all my Nash Squared colleagues!
