Dealing with a difficult market
I know for many of us who are in challenging markets, it can feel quite tough right now. It can also feel frustrating - being successful can feel like it takes twice the effort. If you attended the recent Strategic Update, you’ll have heard me reiterate our theme of ‘be bold’. Being bold is not about working harder. It’s about adding that little bit extra courage or urgency to everything we do. But being bold is also about having faith and trusting in our ability to be successful. We must believe in our collective strength.
On the webinar, you heard some wonderful stories about how that success has been happening, from new client wins, to how we are growing our business with existing clients. You will have also heard that difficult markets always come to an end, and our soon-to-be published DLR Pulse Survey suggests that digital leaders are positive about the future, although this may still be a little way, the survey suggests 6-9 months ahead. We are showing we have what it takes, we know how to overcome these challenges.
It won’t be easy, and we are still on a bumpy road, but we are proving that even in tough markets we are winning. I really do understand how hard we are all working to keep moving forward.
