Connecting and reconnecting
This week we held our first Strategic Connections conference which was attended by the Strategic Connect Team, whose members are our top 80 leaders from around the world, our Global leaders and our ExCo. This is the first time we have been able to come together since the Covid pandemic.
Colleagues flew in from around the world and met at a hotel just outside London.
As we gathered on that first morning it was so exciting and inspiring for me to be amongst so many talented and knowledgable people. As long standing friends reconnected and newer colleagues finally met people in person for the first time, the noise of people greeting each other and catching up on so much news after all this time was wonderful to hear. Microsoft Teams and Zoom have been fantastic tools for us and kept us on track but there really is nothing like personal contact.
Over the day and a half we revisited our strategy, which is working well and delivering incredible growth and new capability around the Nash Squared world. We are focusing our attention on our clients’ needs across their technology strategy and more than ever before we are bringing them more choice and more complete solutions to meet their needs. It is incredible to witness the progress we are making together.
On Wednesday evening we came together to celebrate the many ways you have been succeeding. Awards were given out as we shared food, a few drinks and some wonderful singing accompanying us from Maura Sabat.
Deep experts from our technology recruitment brands, Cookie Crunchers, our latest Flexhuis brand, through to our solutions businesses shared with everyone their client success stories to ensure we go back today to our teams with renewed purpose and knowledge.
The Strategic Connections conference will continue to breathe life into our work as we go throughout the coming year. We have made commitments which will be worked on until we meet again in person next year.
I hope your week has been a good one and that you will get some time in the coming days to rest and relax.
Keep safe and well.
