Competing and connecting
Competing and connecting
Monday is a big day in the Nash Squared calendar as it signals the start of our annual World Games – our fourth year of competition.
As is World Games tradition, the Group members of the Nash Squared Executive Council will be joining teams outside of their main geographical location and I’m proud to share that this year I will be running, walking and swimming for Team USA.
Don’t forget to register
If you haven’t yet signed up to take part in the Games, there’s still time to do so. Make sure to head over to the Nash Hub to register.
I love that we do things like the Nash Squared World Games. As I’m sure you’ve heard me say many times in the past, one of our values is ‘human’ and the World Games is a great example of us doing something that helps both our physical and mental health.
It’s something that connects us – not just in our direct teams but also when speaking to those in other teams. A bit of healthy competition never hurt anybody!
Scoring points as a team
I know that getting outside and doing some exercise, or heading to the gym for a class, contributes to a better outlook, but if we also exercise in groups, we get a social boost as well. After seeing the team in India take part in a mass yoga session and our Crimson business enjoying a Pride themed line dance last year, I’m looking forward to seeing what all of our teams will do this year to help boost their points total.
Remember that the winning team will be decided by points per team member, rather than total points, so no matter what your team size, the more activity per member the better chance of winning.
I can’t wait to get some points on the board, and I know that a lot of you feel the same!
I wish everyone in Nash Squared a fun, healthy, happy and connected World Games.
Bev
PS: Looking forward to seeing everyone at our Groupwide Strategic Update Webinar on Tuesday 11th June, which should be in your diaries.
