Celebrating creativity
I’m sure we all think of different things when we hear the word ‘creativity’.
For me, it not only conjures up things like art, poetry and music, but also new thinking and problem solving.
Earlier this year we ran a competition to decorate a wall in our London HQ reception area and just this week, I emailed about our Poetry Anthology that we’re putting together with all of our favourite poems as well as those that we’ve written ourselves, which I can’t wait to see.
In our own ways, we are all artists and poets, whether we realise it or not. It’s in the way we speak to each other, our clients and our connections. It’s in the way we write an email. The way we add a shape or image in a PowerPoint presentation. The way that we solve an issue within the business.
All of us are different; we all have different skills, talents and ideas. This is what makes everyone an individual.
It’s the same for organisations.
But one thing that all companies have in common is that they are all powered by creativity.
How does an organisation come into being in the first place? Creativity. It’s either an individual or a group of individuals that originally think of an idea that the organisation is based on.
How does an organisation maintain success? Creativity. It’s with new ideas and new ways of thinking that drive us on.
Creativity is what will continue to make Nash Squared, and all that are part of it, a thriving organisation that is a pleasure to work in.
So today, we celebrate creativity and all that it means.
Have a restful, and possibly creative, weekend.
