Nash Squared launches second Tech Flix documentary, exploring the underfunding of female founders
London – 5 October 2023 – Nash Squared, global leader of technology and talent solutions, have announced the launch of the second documentary in their Tech Flix series.
This episode focusses on the chronic lack of investment in female-led businesses and will see host, David Savage (Group Technology Evangelist at Nash Squared) talk to female founders as well as venture capitalists (VCs) and those seeking to drive change to see what can be done to improve the situation.
In the last four years, funds raised by women-only teams has dropped from 3% to just 1% and less than 2p in every £1 invested by VCs goes to women founders compared to 85p in every £1 invested in male founders.
The documentary aims to broaden the conversation and highlight the challenges faced by so many women when founding their own businesses.
Tech Flix builds on the success of Nash Squared’s Tech Talks – one of the top 5% ‘most shared’ podcasts on Spotify. Tech Flix was launched earlier this year with its first episode focussed on the future of medical technology.
