Harvey Nash Switzerland hosts UK Trade Envoy and Embassy Officials

Wednesday 1st June - Harvey Nash Switzerland, a part of Nash Squared, was thrilled to host Stephen Timms, a Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom who is also the UK Trade Envoy to Switzerland and Lichtenstein. Also in attendance were Noel McEvoy, the Trade Director for the British Embassy, and James Sullivan, the Investment officer for the British Embassy.

Mr Timms visited Harvey Nash Switzerland as part of his trade mission to assist the UK and global firms to take advantage of the possibilities that arise from the UK’s international trade plan, with the primary aim to support the drive for economic development and by expanding on the UK’s relationships influence.

During his conversation with our guests, Simon Hindle, Country Manager of Harvey Nash Switzerland, brought up creating stronger links between the United Kingdom and Switzerland, especially with the free movement of technology workers.

In addition, discussions were held on the United Kingdom's efforts to negotiate a new trade deal with Switzerland, and Nash Squared provided Mr Timms with first-hand knowledge of how to improve both commerce and ties between the two nations.

Nash Squared will now continue to work with Mr Timms in the future to advocate for the greatest deal for employees and businesses.
