Section 172 statement

Introduction

Throughout the strategic and directors report, we provide examples of how we:

Take into account the likely consequences of long-term decisions

Build relationships with stakeholders

Engage with employees and promote diversity

Understand the importance of finding ways of reducing our environmental impact and be a considerate member of local communities

Attribute importance to behaving as a responsible business.

The board acknowledges Section 172 (1) of the UK Companies Act 2006, and its duty to promote the success of the Company.

A director of a company must act in the way he or she considers, in good faith, would be most likely to promote the success of the company for the benefit of

its members as a whole, and in doing so has regard (amongst other matters) to:

a) the likely consequences of any decision in the long term

b) the interests of the company’s employees

c) the need to foster the company’s business relationships with suppliers, customers and others

d) the impact of the company’s operations on the community and the environment

e) the desirability of the company maintaining a reputation for high standards of business conduct

f) the need to act fairly between members of the company

The Nash Squared board takes these obligations seriously and the directors are aware of their ongoing duties to act for the benefit of its customers, investors

and staff. The following section provides examples of how the company directors meet their duties to all stakeholders.
